    Why ULV

Since growing up in LA everything was so fast-paced and moves with a blink of an eye, here that’s not the case. I wanted to attend a university that forced me to slow down and fully focus on myself and what I wanted to achieve with the load of stress. La Verne gives me that and more. With the small class sizes and tight-knit community, it made me feel at home instantly, and with that my decision was made.

Favorite Event or Tradition at the University

My tradition on campus is Welcome Week! It gives new students, as well as continuing students, a chance to feel out the university as well as meet new people.

Favorite Place to Hang Out on Campus

My favorite spot on campus has to be the Ludwick Center. The meditation spaces are the best place to go to decompress after a stressful week, or if you want to chill and just read a book, it is by far the best place to do so.

What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?

One piece of advice that I like to give to prospective students is to always, always put yourself out there. This is a new chapter in your life that you can take full control of and create any narrative that you like. Be you and only you!
