    Why ULV

I loved La Verne due to its size and close-knit community. I wanted to have the one-on-one connection with my professors and classmates. They also had a variety of classes that interested me, and I decided to commit to La Verne.

Why did you choose your major?

I fell in love with forensics my senior year of high school and decided I wanted to pursue a career within the field. Criminology covered what I was interested in learning — why criminals think the way they do and why they act on it.

Favorite Place to Hang Out on Campus

I love the Wilson Library because you can choose whether to socialize or isolate yourself to study. It also contains many resources that helped me get through my classes.

What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?

Have fun! Enjoy and explore while you are here — these connections can last you a lifetime and can come in handy in the future. Don't be afraid to be yourself.
