Why ULV
When I was a senior in high school I went to a college fair that my school was holding. I got to talk to some students while I was at the event and they really inspired me to apply.
I have always loved a more intimate learning environment. I wanted to be able to ask questions and the professor is able to remember my name. I also kept hearing that the education department here is great and can help me make a lot of connections within education.
Favorite Spot on Campus or Tradition at the University
I really like the library it is always a nice and quiet place to study. I love coming to the library and doing homework with my friends. It helps me focus and there is tutoring or aid if I were to ever need it.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?
Talk to your professors if you need help. They want you to succeed and communication is always the best policy. Don't be afraid to get involve with organizations and events here on campus, they provide a learning experience and allows for an opportunity to network with your peers and the community.
