Why ULV
When I attended Preview Day, I saw how supportive and remarkable the La Verne community is. I was captivated by the welcoming environment and the unique hands-on experiences, like the Integrated Business Program. In the students' junior year, they are able to participate in this program by running a real business and getting hands-on experience. All of the profit goes to a charity of their group's choice at the end of the semester. After transferring, I knew I made the right choice, and I am confident the University of La Verne will be the right choice for you too!
Campus Involvements
I am part of the American Marketing Association, where we practice leadership in the business and marketing field. Last semester, we connected with local business owners to help market downtown La Verne. I’m excited to continue this work and gain even more hands-on experience.
Favorite Place to Hang Out on Campus
My favorite place to hang out is the Sara and Michael Abraham Campus Center. It’s the perfect place to study, relax, and grab a bite to eat. The beautiful windows and views make it a great spot to do homework and catch up with friends.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?
My advice to incoming students is to pay attention to how valued and supported you feel. At La Verne, I’ve never felt like just a number — I’ve always felt wanted and cared for. Finding a community that makes you feel loved and supported is key to your success.
