    Why ULV

    I chose the University of La Verne because it is only 30-45 minutes from my home. Additionally, I received a really great scholarship. The university seemed very welcoming, and I could envision myself there for the next few years.

    Favorite Event or Tradition at the University

    Lavernapalooza, especially this past year with Flo Rida and Kid Ink performing.

    Favorite Place to Hang Out on Campus

    The Ludwick Center because it is so beautiful. Not only does it have free printing, free tea, and study rooms, it has a Zen Garden. It's nice to be able to de-stress in the garden after a long day of work and classes.

    What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?

    I would say to be open-minded and ask a lot of questions. I would recommend that they say yes to as many new opportunities that present themselves.
